OUR STORY
Bio-Therapeutic was created in Seattle, Washington in 1974. David Suzuki, founder, and CEO, was driven by a passion to create skincare products and equipment that combined traditionalism with technology to stimulate skin renewal from the cellular level. To date, the brand is represented in over 30 countries, boasts 30 patents, countless awards, and is the official supplier of Advanced Skin Care Technology for the International Dermal Institute and Dermalogica.
BT’s professional equipment lineup offers skin analysis, wet/dry microdermabrasion, microcurrent, LED light therapy, micronised product application, and oxygen therapy.
Our two award-winning handheld tools include the bt-sonic® ultrasonic cleansing brush which was awarded 2017 Best Electronic Brush by Dermascope, and the bt-micro® ultrasonic exfoliation tool won Best Product 2017 from LNE as well as the 2017 Grand Prix De Soin Hydratant Visage Award from Les Nouvelles Esthetique Hong Kong and Hong Kong Beauty Magazine. Therapists who are equipped with our forward-thinking technology and have undergone online training provided by the Bio-Therapeutic Institute of Technology will provide skincare services at optimum levels.

Brand distribution was introduced into South Africa in 2013 and, after changing hands, is now under the ownership of industry specialist, Kirsty Da Costa. Together, they carry 28 years of experience in fashion, beauty, aesthetics, brand design, spa management, and training.
